Chinook and Coho Salmon

There is nothing quite like the burying of the rod when a chinook or coho decide to bite. If this is what you’re after, you’ve come to the right place

Springers are the bell of the ball when it comes to tablefare and can be pretty wily on hook and line. I provide trips for these prized salmon beginning in March and running through May. Regular haunts include the Columbia, Willamette, Tillamook Bay and Nestucca river. Make a full day out of it or just join me for a morning or evening fish. Proximity to Portland is great on these trips

Fall hawgs are on the bucket list of every northwest fishing fanatic. Huge, powerful and beautiful, fall chinook will test the skills of fisherman like few other species.
We will be chasing these magnificent beasts and their cousins, silver salmon, or cohos, from the beginning of August clear in to November. Bouy 10, Tillamook Bay, Alsea Bay and the Columbia upriver toward Bonneville Dam are all locations I have extensive experience with. I will be sure to share with you the nuances of each fish as you have a wonderful summer/fall day our on the water.

  • I highly recommend Bill as a fishing guide. He is someone who will come prepared with the right gear, fresh bait and a comfortable boat making for a great relaxing day on the water. He will work hard and put in the time to get you into a fish. He is not afraid to change techniques until he finds a method that is working. At the end of the day he will clean your catch and send you on the way. Bill is the consummate professional, no need to worry about rough language even when a rookie mistake is made. He is interested in making sure you have a great time.
